Materials Needed
Free printable cat template (PDF)
White paper
Scissors
Glue
Black marker
Colored pencils or markers (optional)
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Print and cut
Print the free template on white paper.
Carefully cut out the two squares:
One square with the cat’s face
One square with the cat’s paws
Making the Cat’s Body
Step 2: Take the square with the paws and fold it diagonally in half to form a triangle.
Step 3: Fold the bottom right corner forward — this will become the cat’s tail.
The cat’s body is now ready!
Making the Cat’s Head
Step 4: Take the square with the eyes and fold it diagonally in half.
Step 5: Place the triangle in front of you so the eyes and nose are facing you.
Step 6: Fold the right and left corners backward to form a square shape.
Step 7: Fold out the top corners slightly to create the ears. Secure with glue if needed.
Step 8: Fold the top triangular part of the head backward.
Step 9: Fold the bottom part upward toward the eyes, then fold a small triangle back down. This forms the kitten’s muzzle and nose.
Step 10: Fold the lower back part of the face inward.
Assembling the Cat
Step 11: Slide the body piece into the head piece and secure with glue.
Your kitten is almost done!

Use a black marker to draw whiskers and extra facial details.
