- White printer paper
- Colored construction paper (yellow, pink, black)
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Googly eyes (optional)
Instructions:
Print the Template
Start by printing the free PDF template on white paper. It includes all the parts you’ll need: body/head, tail, ears, eyes, nose.
Cut Out the Template Pieces
Carefully cut out each shape from the printed template.
Trace and Cut from Colored Paper
Use the template pieces to trace each shape onto colored paper:
Yellow for the main body/head and tail.
Pink for the inner ears.
Black for the whiskers and nose.
Assemble the Mouse Body
Roll the large semicircle (body piece) into a cone and glue the edges together. Slightly bend the top of the head forward.
Attach the Details
Glue the pink ear pieces onto the top of the head.
Attach the whiskers to the front of the face, and glue the black nose on top.
Add the eyes—either from the template or googly eyes for extra fun.
Make and Attach the Tail
Glue the two tail pieces together to make a stronger tail. Curl the ends slightly, then glue the tail to the back of the mouse’s body.
