Materials Needed:

White cardstock (for printing the template)

Cardboard (optional, for extra sturdiness)

White paper napkins

Colored pencils, markers, or paints (for the black-and-white version)

Yellow paint

Glue

Scissors

Modeling clay (we used gray)

Instructions:

Print the template on thick white paper.

Color the parts of the template using colored pencils, markers, or paints.

Cut out all the pieces – the two leaves and the round background with the dandelion stem.

For more durability, glue the round background onto a piece of cardboard.

Shape a small ball from the modeling clay and place it in the center of the background where the dandelion flower will be. Gently flatten the clay ball so it sticks well.

Cut the white paper napkins into small squares.

Using a thin stick, press each napkin square into the clay. Continue adding them close together to form a fluffy dandelion bud.

Mix some yellow paint with water and carefully paint the napkin pieces, covering the entire bud with bright yellow color.

Once the flower is ready, glue the two green leaves below the stem.

Your beautiful and original Dandelion Paper Napkin Craft is now complete!
