How to Make the Cute Paper Cat Craft

1. Print the template

Print the free PDF template on white paper. The template includes all the parts you need: the cat’s body, back legs, tail, nose, and eyes.

2. Cut out all the pieces

Carefully cut out each part from the printed template:

• the body
• the back legs
• the tail
• the triangular nose
• the two eyes

3. Trace the pieces onto colored paper

Place the cut template pieces onto colored paper and trace around them.

For our example:

• We used pink paper for the body, back legs, and tail to make a sweet pink kitten.
• We used black paper for the small nose.

Cut out all the traced shapes.

4. Assemble the cat’s face

Glue the two eyes onto the body piece where the cat’s head will be.

Next, glue the small triangular nose just below the eyes in the center.

Use a black marker to draw the cat’s mouth, whiskers, and other face details.

5. Shape the cat’s body

Follow the fold lines on the template and fold the body piece twice to create a loop shape (a rounded arch).

Apply glue to the folded tab and attach it to the base of the front legs.

Now your cat will have a fun “loop” or arched body shape with front paws.

6. Decorate the back legs

Use a black marker to draw paw pads on the back legs.

Glue the back legs to the rear end of the cat’s body.

7. Add the tail

Finally, glue the tail to the back of the cat.
