How to Make a 3D Paper Snowman
Step 1: Print and Cut the Template
Print the free PDF template on white paper.

Carefully cut out all the pieces:
- three rectangles (snowman’s body and head)
- one rectangle for the hat
- a thin strip
- two eyes
- one arm
- three buttons
- one carrot nose
- These pieces will serve as the patterns for cutting the shapes out of colored paper.

Step 2: Cut the Pieces Out of Colored Paper
Using the template pieces, cut out the required shapes:
- Three white rectangles – for the head and body
- One black rectangle – for the hat
- One red strip – for decorating the hat
- Two black twig-arms
- Three black round buttons
- One orange carrot nose

Each white rectangle should have its two side edges folded backward by 1.5 cm. These folded tabs will help create the 3D effect.

Step 3: Build the Snowman on a Background
Choose a sheet of colored cardstock as your background. A snowy color like blue works beautifully.

Apply glue to the folded tabs of the largest white rectangle and attach it near the bottom of the background, keeping the center puffed out. This is the bottom snowball.

Above it, glue the medium rectangle the same way.

Then glue the smallest rectangle to form the snowman’s head.

Attach the red strip onto the black hat rectangle, fold the sides by 1.5 cm, and glue the tabs to create a 3D hat. Place it above the head.

Glue the two twig arms on both sides.

Add the eyes, carrot nose, and draw a friendly smile with a black marker.

Glue the three black buttons onto the body.

Step 4: Add the Snowy Background
To complete the winter scene, add snowflakes! You can either:
- draw them using a white marker or white paint, or
- cut out small white circles and glue them to the background.
