Materials Needed:
Free Fox Toilet Paper Roll Printable Template (download and print)
White cardstock or regular printing paper
Scissors
Glue stick
Colored pencils, markers, or crayons (for the black-and-white version)
Orange and white cardstock (for the cut-out version)
Empty toilet paper roll
Instructions for the Cut-Out Cardstock Version:
Step 1: Print and Prepare the Template
Print the cut-out template on regular printer paper and cut out the pieces to use as stencils.
Step 2: Trace and Cut on Colored Cardstock
Trace the rectangular body on orange cardstock and cut it out.
Trace the tail on orange cardstock and cut it out.
Trace the tail tip on white cardstock and cut it out.
Step 3: Assemble the Pieces
Wrap the orange body piece around the toilet paper roll and glue it in place.
Fold up on both sides. That’s how you’ll get cute fox ears.
Glue the heart-shaped white face to the front.
Glue the white tip to the fox’s tail.
Attach the tail to the back of the toilet paper roll.
Your fox is now complete!
Instructions for the Black-and-White Coloring Version:
Step 1: Print the Template
Download and print the black-and-white template on white cardstock or regular printer paper.
Step 2: Color the Template
Use colored pencils, markers, or crayons to color the fox parts:
The body wrap should be orange.
The tail should be orange with a white tip.
Step 3: Cut Out the Pieces
Carefully cut out the fox’s body, face, and tail along the outlines.
Step 4: Assemble the Fox
Wrap the rectangular body piece around the toilet paper roll and glue it in place.
Fold up on both sides. That’s how you’ll get cute fox ears.
Attach the fox’s face to the front of the roll.
Glue the tail to the back of the roll, so it sticks out to the side.
