How to Make the 3D Heart Card
Print the template on white paper.
Color the front side of the future card however you like. Kids can decorate the hands or add background designs.
Carefully cut out the card base and the heart template.
Fold the card in half along the dotted line.
Using the heart template, cut several hearts from double-sided colored paper. We used 8 hearts for a full 3D effect.
Glue one heart between the drawn hands on the front side of the card. This will be the center base.
Fold the remaining hearts in half.
Glue the folded hearts one on top of another, attaching each to the center heart along the fold line. This creates a layered, dimensional heart.
Once all hearts are attached, gently open them to form a bright 3D paper heart held by the illustrated hands.
Write your Valentine’s message inside or on the card.
