Instructions:
Print the Template
Download and print the free banana craft template on sturdy white cardstock.

Color the Face
Use colored pencils or markers to color in the smile on the template.

Cut Out the Shapes
Carefully cut out the banana shape, both eyes, and the smile.

Tear the Paper
Tear yellow and black paper into small pieces. The torn edges give the banana a fun textured look.

Glue the Paper Pieces
Start at the bottom of the banana and glue on small pieces of black paper to create the dark tip.

Then continue filling in the rest of the banana with yellow paper. Make sure to place the pieces close together so that no white background shows through.

Trim the Edges
Once the entire banana is covered, flip it over and use scissors to trim away any excess paper hanging off the edges.

Add the Face
Glue the eyes and smile onto the banana. Now it has a cheerful expression!

Finished Craft:
Your torn paper banana is complete and ready to be displayed! This fun banana buddy makes a great classroom activity, fruit-themed project, or rainy-day craft at home.
