How to Make Toilet Paper Roll Pencils
Step 1: Prepare the Template
Print the free template on white paper.

Carefully cut out the rectangle, large circle, small circle, and eyes.

Use the cut-out template pieces as patterns for your colored paper.

Step 2: Make the Pencil Body
Take the rectangular template piece and trace it onto colored paper. You can choose yellow, red, blue, green, purple, or any other color.

Cut out the rectangle and wrap it around a cardboard toilet paper roll. Secure the edges with glue.

Now you have the colorful body of your pencil!
Step 3: Make the Pencil Tip
Next, use the large circle template to cut a circle from beige paper.

Make several cuts from the edge of the circle toward the center. Do not cut all the way to the middle. Then overlap the cut sections and wrap the paper into a cone shape.

Secure the edges with glue. This beige cone will form the wooden part of the pencil.

Step 4: Add the Colored Pencil Tip
Use the small circle template to cut a circle from the same color of paper you used for the pencil body.

Again, make cuts from the edge toward the center. Overlap the sections to create a smaller cone and secure it with glue.

Place the colored cone over the beige cone and glue the two pieces together.

You should now have a colorful pencil tip with a wooden-looking base.

Step 5: Assemble the Pencil
Insert the finished pencil tip into the top of the decorated cardboard roll. Adjust it so that it sits securely on the pencil body.

Your toilet paper roll pencil is almost ready!
Step 6: Add a Cute Face
Use the eye pieces from the printable template. Cut them out and glue them onto the front of the pencil.

Finally, use a black marker to draw a small smiling mouth.

Your adorable toilet paper roll pencil craft is complete!
