- White paper or cardstock
- Toilet paper roll
- Colored pencils, markers, or paints (optional)
- Black, white, and colored paper (optional)
- Scissors
- Glue
- White marker or paint
Instructions
Print the template on white paper.

Color the pieces with colored pencils, markers, or paints if you’re not using colored paper.
Cut out all the pieces carefully.

Use the template pieces as a guide to cut shapes out of colored paper or cardstock:
- A black rectangle for the bat’s body.
- Two black wings.
- Two white fangs.

Wrap the toilet paper roll with the black rectangle and glue it in place. This will be the bat’s body.

Fold the top edges of the roll inward to create pointy bat ears.

Attach the wings to both sides of the roll.

Color the eyes (from the template) in your favorite shade – we chose bright green! Glue them onto the bat’s face.

Draw a smile with a white marker or paint.

Glue the fangs underneath the smile.

Your spooky little bat is ready!
