How to Make a Paper Strip Christmas Tree
1. Prepare the Green Paper Strips
Cut four long strips from double-sided green paper, each 2 cm wide.

Glue the strips end to end to create one long 2 cm wide paper strip.

2. Start Building the Tree Shape
Take the wooden skewer and carefully pierce one end of the long strip, leaving a 1 cm margin from the edge.

Form a loop with the paper strip and pierce it onto the skewer again — this creates the first “branch” of your tree.

3. Form the Looped Layers
Continue folding the strip into equal-sized loops and piercing each one onto the skewer.

As you move downward, keep the loops consistent to form a neat and recognizable Christmas tree shape.

4. Make the Star Topper
From yellow cardstock, cut out two stars.

Glue them together, leaving a small opening at the bottom.
Slide the star onto the top of the skewer so that the tip of the skewer sits inside the star.

5. Add Decorations
Cut small circles from colorful paper.

Glue them onto the loops of the tree to create festive ornaments.

Your bright and cheerful paper Christmas tree is ready!
