White printer paper
Brown cardstock
Beige colored paper
Colored pencils or markers
Scissors
Glue stick
Instructions:
Download and Print the Template
Download the free PDF template and print it on white paper.
Cut Out the Template Pieces
Carefully cut out all the parts: the hedgehog’s spiky back, body, face, hands, feet, and the mushroom.
Prepare the Paper Pieces
Trace and cut the spiky back from brown cardstock.
Cut the body and hands from beige paper.
Cut the feet from brown cardstock.
Color the mushroom with colored pencils or markers.
Assemble the Hedgehog
Glue the face to the top part of the hedgehog’s body.
Glue the mushroom to the hedgehog’s hands so it looks like it’s holding it.
Attach the hands (with the mushroom) to the sides of the body.
Glue the body onto the spiky back piece.
Gently fold the ears forward for a 3D look.
Glue on the feet at the bottom.
Your cute paper hedgehog is now complete! This craft is perfect for kids of all ages and makes a lovely woodland decoration or classroom project.
