What You’ll Need:
- Free printable clown template
- White printer paper
- Colored pencils, crayons, or markers
- Scissors
- Colored double-sided paper (for clown hair)
- Glue stick
Instructions (Using the Black-and-White Template):
Print the template on white paper.
Color the clown’s face and bowtie however you like. Encourage kids to use bright and playful colors to make the clown come to life.
Carefully cut out the face and bowtie along the outlines.
Take a sheet of double-sided colored paper (we used orange) and cut it into thin strips.
Crumple the paper strips into loose, fluffy bundles — these will become the clown’s puffy, voluminous hair.
Glue the paper bundles to the top of the clown’s head to form the hair.
Slightly curl the ends of the bowtie to give it a 3D effect.
Glue the bowtie to the bottom of the clown’s face.
And there you have it — a bright and jolly clown ready to make everyone smile!
