- White printer paper (for the template)
- Colored paper (green and white)
- Pink or any colored A4 paper for the bouquet wrapper
- Cotton swabs (Q-tips)
- Yellow paint
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Instructions:
1. Print and Cut Out the Template
Download and print the free PDF template on regular white printer paper. Carefully cut out the shapes: the circle (for the flower bud), the leaf, and the stem.
2. Trace Onto Colored Paper
Using the cut-out shapes as stencils:
- Trace and cut 5 white circles (these will be the calla lily buds).
- Trace and cut 5 green leaves.
- Trace and cut 5 green stems.
3. Create the Flower Buds
Take the white circles and roll each one into a small cone shape to resemble a calla lily bloom. Glue the edge to hold the shape.
4. Make the Flower Centers
Use cotton swabs to make the flower stamens. Paint one tip of each swab with yellow paint and let it dry. Once dry, insert one swab into the center of each flower bud and glue it in place.
5. Prepare the Leaves
Fold each green leaf in half vertically to give it a 3D effect and make the bouquet look more realistic.
6. Assemble the Bouquet
Take a sheet of A4 colored paper (pink is used in our example) and cut it in half vertically. Position one half vertically in front of you. This will be the base of your bouquet.
Glue the 5 green stems in place, spacing them slightly.
Attach a calla lily bud to the top of each stem.
Glue a leaf next to each flower to complete the bouquet.
7. Wrap the Bouquet
Bring the bottom edges of the colored paper together to form a cone-shaped bouquet wrapper. Glue the edges together to secure it.
8. Add a Greeting
Use one of the pre-designed labels from the template to decorate the front of your bouquet. Choose from messages like “Happy Mother’s Day”, “Love You”, or write your own message!
