Materials Needed

A4 white paper

Green double-sided colored paper

Yellow cardstock

White and black cardstock

Scissors

Glue

Black marker

Wooden skewer (optional, for rolling the stem)

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Make the flower petals

Take one sheet of white A4 paper. Fold it in half and cut it into two equal rectangles.

Fold each rectangle into an accordion.

Fold each accordion in half.

Use scissors to round the ends of each folded accordion — this will form the chamomile petals.

Glue the inner edges of each accordion together to create two fan-shaped pieces.

Now glue the two fans together on one side only. You should get a flower bud base with one side still open.

2. Make the stem

Take a sheet of green double-sided paper and roll it tightly into a thin tube.

For convenience, use a wooden skewer to help shape the stem evenly.

Secure the edge with glue.

Insert the finished stem between the unglued sides of the flower bud and glue it firmly in place.

3. Add the leaves

Cut two leaf shapes from green double-sided paper.

Glue the leaves to the stem.

4. Make the chamomile face

Cut:

One yellow circle (flower center / face)

Two white medium circles

Two smaller black circles

Two very small white circles (eye highlights)

Glue the eye pieces together (white → black → highlights).

Attach the finished eyes to the yellow circle.

Use a black marker to draw a cute smiling mouth.

Glue the finished face into the center of the chamomile flower.

Your beautiful 3D paper chamomile is ready!
